North Coast
Situated in the northern most tip of Sri Lanka, Jaffna is both a sea port as well as an important city. The rich ancient culture of Jaffna is very interesting and the remnants of the buildings of the Hindu period or of the colonial period speaks of the living history of Jaffna.

West Coast

Negombo is situated in the western coast of Sri Lanka about 40 km or an hour trip north of Colombo. It is much closer to the Bandaranayaka International Airport and ideal for people who want to stay close to the airport. You can easily make excursions to other areas as well. The city is bordered by a lagoon which has diverse wildlife and helps sustain such industries as Prawn farming. The city itself is a charming town with modern amenities.

East Coast
There is little doubt that the untapped potential for tourism in the Eastern Province is immense. In fact, a prominent hotel on the Nilaweli beach in Trincomalee was the only property in the island that managed to command high US dollar priced room rates prior to the escalation of the North East conflict. The recovery of tourism in the East is set to seriously take off in the coming months and years, and the country’s tourism development authorities are fast negotiating several private hotel investments there.
